Over the next few months I’m going to do something slightly different with my blog. I’m going to write a series of posts around one theme.
The theme is What I Have Learned About Saying No.
The idea is to write about all the lessons I’m learning on the subject of how and when and why to say no to things people ask you to do. To write what I’ve learned about why we feel overwhelmed, about busy-ness and margin in our lives, about how to decide what is important and what is not.
I think that writing the series will be helpful for me, and I hope it will be helpful for others.
I will still write about my little adventures as I have them, I’m sure. Those posts will be interspersed between my regular Thursday post about saying no.
For those of you who read my posts on Facebook, I am not sure what the Facebook algorithm will do once I start posting regularly. If you want to make sure you never miss a post, you can sign up on WordPress and the post will be sent to your email address every week without fail.
Of course, if you don’t want to be part of this, feel free to say no.
But I’d love to have you join me on this journey.
What do you think? Is there a situation where it is difficult for you to say no? Is there something you’d particularly like me to investigate in this series? Please let me know your thoughts in the comments.
You’ll notice some special art in this series. If you want to see more of it you can find the artist on instagram @deteor42
