Trigger warning: depression and suicide. But there is victory in the end!
I had such a great chat with Patricia, and one of the things I loved about it was the amount of scripture that was peppered through our conversation. So here in the show notes I have put as many of the references as I can. I’m really grateful to Patricia for sharing the story of her depression and her growth out of that. And it’s just amazing to see how she is working in the prison and doing so much good when she’s well within her rights to sit back and take life slowly.
Revelation 3:20 ‘Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.’

Psalm 92:12-15 ‘The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cider of Lebanon; planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God. They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green, proclaiming, “The LORD is upright; he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him.”’
