Evie has a secret, a life-changing secret and she’s not ready to tell anyone about it. Not Rick, not her parents, not even her best friend, Mel. She needs to figure out how she feels about it first.

What she needs is a quiet place to go and think. And the best place she can think of to do that is Lillyford: a small town, a quiet place, with nothing going on.

But when she gets to Lillyford, Evie finds that hers is not the only secret, not by a long shot. Why is the old man, a man she has never met, so angry with her? What’s going on with Max and Amy? Can she bring an estranged family back together? And can she sort it all out before Mel’s wedding?

About Ruth Amos

Ruth AmosHi, I’m Ruth Amos. I’m an author, speaker, editor, wife, mother of two incredible grown-up children and grandmother to three fantastic kids.

Through my blog, podcast and nonfiction books I hope to help people to live a quiet life, doing the things that God has called them to do – the things that bring them joy and bless others. Through my fiction (written as RJ Amos) I hope to provide a clean and wholesome escape, whether that be science fiction, romantic suspense, or a good old-fashioned cosy mystery.

I live in Tasmania, Australia, one of the best places on God’s earth. I love writing, reading, knitting, walking on the beach (any beach), and having coffee with people.

I am a disciple of Jesus and though I regularly stumble, I try always to get back in step with Him as soon as possible.

You can connect with me on Twitter and on Facebook.
